TTBA Weekly News and Mailbox Monday

This feature was inspired by It's Monday! What are you reading? hosted by Sheila at Book Journey and also by The Sunday Salon.

Hello there! It has been extremely busy in my life lately.  While I'm super grateful that I finally have a job--and a work-at-home one at that--I'm still getting used to the way working and fitting everything else in works.  I just hosted a week long write-a-thon over at my writing blog during which I was supposed to get a big chunk of my novel written.  I didn't write.one.word.  *frown*  I'm not giving up hope though.  Just have to plug on and figure out what kind of schedule works best for me.

What's going on in my/the reading world....

The EPIC Dark Tower Read-a-Long starts Saturday.  Detailed reading schedule will be posted this week at the Stephen King Challenge blog.  We're reading the entire Dark Tower series from September this year through July 2013! You can check out the details and sign up at the dedicated blog HERE.

The sign-up for the FrightFall Read-a-Thon has been posted over at Seasons of Reading.  Check out this POST for all the details and to sign-up.  We're getting close to the scary time of year.  I can't wait!

Coming in October to Castle Macabre...Season of the Witch! Details will be posted over there soon.  If you are interested in participating by writing a guest post or, if you're an author, and you'd like to donate a book for a giveaway or share a guest post, let me know.  The focus is going to be witches (I'm going to be reading my fair share of witch-related fiction), but anything scary is game! Be watching for details at Castle Macabre.

How could I resist!?  Since I already started reading it earlier this year and had planned on finishing, why not?  It is a re-read for me, but it's one of my absolute favorites.  Details are HERE.  Hosted by Fanda Classiclit.

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to comment. It means so much.

I apologize for word verification, but as soon as I changed the settings from only users with Google accounts, I started receiving a ton of spam comments...within one hour of changing the settings. The bots are on high alert apparently.

  1. Love the new background! Scream looks interesting can't wait to read the reviews on your mailbox!!! Love it!

  4. Oh my goodness - I never cease to be amazed by all you do! No wonder you didn't have time to write - especially with a new job. Just adjusting to a new job is exhausting!
