Cat Thursday: Authors and their cats (15)

Welcome to the weekly meme that celebrates the wonders and sometime hilarity of cats! Join us by posting a favorite LOL cat pic you may have come across, famous cat art or even share with us pics of your own beloved cat(s). It's all for the love of cats! Enjoy! (share your post in the Mr. Linky below)

The second Cat Thursday of each month is Authors and their Cats Thursday.  Each time I will feature an author and their cat(s).

Thank you to everyone who wished me well last week.  I'm feeling much better.  You are all so sweet. *group hug from me, Alice and Arya*

In honor of another wonderful author who passed away recently, I post the following image of Gore Vidal with Caligula.  RIP, Mr. Vidal.

I apologize for word verification, but I turned it off and had close to 50 spam comments within 12 hours (nobody has time for that) so I had to turn it back on. Sorry!

  1. What a very cool picture! I love the cat's name, too!

    1. There's a blogger by the name of Sarah at Puss Reboots. Her cat's name is Caligula. It is a cool name. =O)

  2. Caligula ... why didn't I think of that :) Nice choice for your Author and cat. He will be missed.

  3. That is so funny - can you imagine calling for your pet "here, pretty, pretty Calligula!"

  4. Gore Vidal - I'm still a little freaked out by his eerie screenplay for Tennessee Williams' 'Suddenly Last Summer,' but his cat was awfully cute.

  5. He was certainly a very interesting character and will be remembered for his influence on other writers. Caligula is a cute kitty. I wonder if he's a bit naughty too?
