Cat Thursday--Writing

Welcome to the weekly meme that celebrates the wonders and sometime hilarity of cats! Join us by posting a favorite LOL cat pic you may have come across, famous cat art or even share with us pics of your own beloved cat(s). It's all for the love of cats! (share your post in the Mr. Linky below)

First of all, an apology to you all.  I did not get a chance to stop by your posts from last week.  I hope you will forgive me.  I'm working on a project for work (have been for about a week and a half) and the deadline is Friday so I had to work on it some tonight.  In the meantime, I'm hosting a write-a-thon over at my writing blog, The Story Inside Me, during which I was supposed to be catching up on my Camp NaNoWriMo word count on my novel.  Fat laugh! I'm just tonight squeezing in a bit by burning the late night oil.  Anyway, now you get the reason why the theme this week is writing.  Again, please don't be mad at me.  I'll make it up to you. =O)

Maybe this is the real reason I'm not getting any writing done this week.  Arya is always sitting on me when I'm trying to work and Alice likes to lay on anything we might be in the middle of writing.  She did it to Gabe last night when he was doing his homework.

I don't think I'm going to let the girls edit my work....

This is what I wish I could say to everyone this week...work, kids, husband.  Alas...

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to comment. It means so much.

I apologize for word verification, but as soon as I changed the settings from only users with Google accounts, I started receiving a ton of spam comments...within one hour of changing the settings. The bots are on high alert apparently.

  1. It is difficult getting any work done when your cats are determined not to let you work at all.

These photos are so funny! :D

  2. Cats do like to be a part of everything, don't they? LOL

  3. You're good, Michelle. I don't know how you do it; guess I'm getting old. *LOL*
I am trying to get two books out this fall, and it is a double-migraine! It has been difficult going back and forth with the layouts! I am not going to get what I envisioned, so...I am blessed just to get them out...hopefully soon.
    All the best!

  4. I'm not mad. I'm also busy and juggling many things, so I am sympathetic. I also understand the dual joy and pain of trying to be a good parent to fur babies and trying to work :)

  5. Activity is a major attraction to cats ... open a book and "zap" a cat is sitting on it. Pull out a piece of paper and "zap" a cat is sitting on it ... try to eat lunch and .... and ... and ... They are wonderful pets, but sometimes I wonder why we think so.

  6. Oh those are funny! I've got to get my daughter to download some of the hundreds of pictures she's already taken of my son's cats since they moved in 3 wks ago. I thought I wasn't a cat person any more but dang am I getting attached to those babies!
