DEWEY'S 24 HOUR READ-A-THON

T minus seven hours and counting (my start time is 7:00am).

This is me because of the read-a-thon AND because I have TWO library sales tomorrow!

Will these two join me for a bit of read-a-thon reading...or will they drive me to distraction and prevent me from getting any reading done?

Will Alice curl up in my lap at least once whilst I'm reading...please?

Will this be me in the wee hours of Sunday morning?

We will just have to see how things play out.  Now...on to my stack of books!

Dante's Journey by JC Marino
The Greek Maiden and the English Lord by Patty Apostolides
A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin
BE: Embracing the Mystery by Shirlee Hall
Captivity by Deborah Noyes
Blood and Silk by Carol McKay

Dante's Journey is one I'm wanting to finish.  BE: Embracing the Mystery is one I will probably just read a couple of chapters here and there.  I need to finish it for a spot on the Angels and Warriors blog talk radio show on Tuesday night so I want to at least get it started.  Captivity and Blood and Silk are ambitious additions, just in case by some miracle I get through the others. *smiles inwardly at self knowingly*

What about you?  Are you doing the read-a-thon?  It's not too late to sign up.  Go HERE if you just can't hold yourself back.  =O)

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to comment. It means so much.

I apologize for word verification, but as soon as I changed the settings from only users with Google accounts, I started receiving a ton of spam comments...within one hour of changing the settings. The bots are on high alert apparently.

  4. I love your blog! I also love history and historical fiction. I am reading a book right now that would probably be right up your alley: "The Tudors: The Complete Story of England's Most Notorious Dynasty", by GJ Meyer. Also if you haven't read it, "We Two: Victoria and Albert: Rulers, Partners, Rivals", by Gillian Gill was also amazing.
