READ-A-THON WRAP-UP & END OF EVENT MEME

I'm not going to talk about how badly I FAILED at this read-a-thon, but about how much fun I had.  I participated in several mini-challenges that were great fun and visited a little with fellow bloggers.  So...although I didn't even finish a book that I had already started before the read-a-thon (EPIC FAIL), I don't feel like it was a complete waste of time...sort of...

End of Event Meme:

1. Which hour was most daunting for you? Hour 20 must have been pretty daunting because I fell asleep and didn't wake up until this morning!

2. Could you list a few high-interest books that you think could keep a Reader engaged for next year? since I didn't even finish the first book I was reading, I'm going to have to say no!

3. Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year?  I just wish it was longer, but then you would have to change the name!

4. What do you think worked really well in this year’s Read-a-thon?  most of the mini-challenges were simple and very easy to complete.

5. How many books did you read?  less than one

6. What were the names of the books you read?  Dracula in Love by Karen Essex

7. Which book did you enjoy most?  same as above

8. Which did you enjoy least?  N/A

9. If you were a Cheerleader, do you have any advice for next year’s Cheerleaders? N/A

10. How likely are you to participate in the Read-a-thon again? What role would you be likely to take next time?  I will participate and I will probably just be a reader again.  I will continue to participate until I finally get it right and then perhaps I'll take on another role in the future!

Thanks to the Dewey's Read-A-Thon hosts and to all the cheerleaders and bloggers who stopped by with encouragement.  Hopefully, I will have better success with the Halloween Read-A-Thon next week.

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to comment. It means so much.

I apologize for word verification, but as soon as I changed the settings from only users with Google accounts, I started receiving a ton of spam comments...within one hour of changing the settings. The bots are on high alert apparently.

  1. May I simply just say what a relief to uncover somebody who actually understands what
they are talking about on the net. You actually know how to bring a problem to light and make it important.
More and more people must check this out and understand this side of the story.
I can't believe you're not more popular given that you surely possess
    the gift.
