24 HOUR READ-A-THON--HOUR ONE

Official start: 9:30am CT
Starting with Dracula in Love by Karen Essex...starting page--148

Hour One Meme:

Where are you reading from today?  Nashville, Tennessee...I'm reading from home this morning and then I'll be at my mom's the rest of the read-a-thon...no kids to bug me...yay!

3 facts about me …
I can't believe I forgot to answer this one...doh!

I love to sing
I am working on losing 100+ pounds
I am writing my first novel

How many books do you have in your TBR pile for the next 24 hours?

SIX

Do you have any goals for the read-a-thon (i.e. number of books, number of pages, number of hours, or number of comments on blogs)?

I'm not being overly ambitious because that usually ends up an epic fail for me! I'm hoping to finish at least two books and maybe get started on another.

If you’re a veteran read-a-thoner, any advice for people doing this for the first time?

Since, like I said, I usually "fail" at read-a-thons, I'm not going to dispense much advice...LOL! However, I will say to just have fun.  That way, if you don't read as much as you wanted, it will not feel like as much of a failure. =O)

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to comment. It means so much.

I apologize for word verification, but as soon as I changed the settings from only users with Google accounts, I started receiving a ton of spam comments...within one hour of changing the settings. The bots are on high alert apparently.
