Once Upon a Read-A-Thon...official start

This is my official start post for the read-a-thon.  I started at 12:30 pm my time (which is central time).  I am reading Virgin and the Crab by Robert Parry, starting on page 32.  Let's get this party started!

I apologize for word verification, but as soon as I changed the settings from only users with Google accounts, I started receiving a ton of spam comments...within one hour of changing the settings. The bots are on high alert apparently.

    Good luck - hope you get lots read. I started earlier this morning, but will have to read when I can. I can't seem to justify to my boss or my family to take the time off that I would love to, so I could just spend the next 3 days reading!
