Cat Thursday - Please Do Not Declaw Your Cats #PawsNeedClaws

Welcome to the weekly meme that celebrates the wonders and sometime hilarity of cats! Join us by posting a favorite LOL cat pic you may have come across, famous cat art or even share with us pics of your own beloved cat(s). It's all for the love of cats! (share your post in the Mr. Linky below)

I apologize for the delay on this post. I scheduled it last night and for whatever reason, Blogger did not publish it. Not happy.

Cole and Marmalade's dad explains the dangers of declawing cats. It can be very problematic for them, from both health and safety aspects. As he says in the video, "Explain to me again why vets are still doing this?"

Now, let's lighten things up with more from Cole and Marmalade and Parole De Chat.  >^.^<

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to comment. It means so much.

I apologize for word verification, but as soon as I changed the settings from only users with Google accounts, I started receiving a ton of spam comments...within one hour of changing the settings. The bots are on high alert apparently.

  1. Declawing is something I would never understand. Fortunately in my country (Portugal) it's not legal to declaw cats.

  2. I'm so happy to hear that some countries are enlightened about these kinds of things. The very thought of declawing a cat is too heartbreaking for me to bear!

  3. Great post with great info about declawing.

  4. The cats we've inherited were not declawed. They did do a number on an older chair the kids have and sometimes tear up my carpet some but really only when we're between scratching pads. As with so many things - bad cat behavior = shame on us.
