Cat Thursday - Authors and Cats (34)

Welcome to the weekly meme that celebrates the wonders and sometime hilarity of cats! Join us by posting a favorite LOL cat pic you may have come across, famous cat art or even share with us pics of your own beloved cat(s). It's all for the love of cats! Enjoy! (share your post in the Mr. Linky below)

The second Cat Thursday of each month is Authors and Cats Thursday. Each time I will feature an author and their cat(s).

I am SO sorry! I can't believe I forgot to post this! I always have it ready to post at midnight, but it completely slipped my mind. Please forgive my absentmindedness.

Today I'm sharing with you author, Juliet Waldron. I reviewed her book, Mozart's Wife last week (HERE) and in her author photo, she is posed with her cat. She is obviously a woman after our own hearts!

About the author
“Not all who wander are lost.” Juliet Waldron earned a B. A. in English, but has worked at jobs ranging from artist’s model to brokerage. Thirty years ago, after the boys left home, she dropped out of 9-5 and began to write, hoping to create a genuine time travel experience for herself–and for her readers. She loves her grand-girls and her kitties, likes to take long hikes, and reads historical/archeological non-fiction as well as reviewing for the Historical Novel Society. For summer adventure, she rides behind her husband of 50 years on his “bucket list” (black, and ridiculously fast) Hyabusa motorcycle.

You can find more information at www.julietwaldron.com or connect with Juliet on Facebook.

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to comment. It means so much.

I apologize for word verification, but as soon as I changed the settings from only users with Google accounts, I started receiving a ton of spam comments...within one hour of changing the settings. The bots are on high alert apparently.

  1. Missed you at midnight - but glad to see you remembered! (smile)

  4. Ah, cute but cats who want to be in your lap while you're one the computer making typing hard to write books, I'm thinking!

  5. I'm sad to say that The Other Boleyn Girl is my only foray into the hist-fic genre, and I did love it (however ridiculous!). Slowly but surely I'm working my way into it, though! Cheers. xx

  6. I just finished The Forgotten Seamstress by Liz Trenow. I could not put it down - highly recommended. Takes place in England in the 1910's, the 1970's and 2008.
