I have only been blogging in the book blog community since early August so I have not actually read a book that was recommended by a fellow blogger. However, I have learned about so many wonderful new books through reading reviews and entering giveaways (and I have won some of these)!
One author (and her books) in particular has really sparked my interest and that is Michelle Moran, author of
The Heretic Queen and
Cleopatra's Daughter. I have read several interviews with Ms. Moran on various blogs. She seems to have a genuine passion for history and she cares about her writing. Historical fiction is one of my favorite genres and I'm also a history major so it's important to me for an author to really care about the history. I am so looking forward to reading all her books. And thanks to
Wrighty's Reads, I just won her giveaway of
Cleopatra's Daughter! Now I will get to read a book by this author of who I have become so intrigued. I'm sure I will rush out and buy her other books as well.
