Cat Thursday: Authors and Cats (108) Jacques Prévert

Welcome to the weekly meme that celebrates the wonders and sometime hilarity of cats! Join us by posting a favorite lolcat pic you may have come across, famous cat art or even share with us pics of your own beloved cat(s). It's all for the love of cats! Share the link to your post with your comment below.

The second Cat Thursday of each month is Authors and Cats Thursday. Each time I will feature an author (with a birthday during the month), pictured with their/a cat(s), or guest posts by cat loving authors who also (sometimes) write about cats.

Jacques Prévert (b. February 4, 1900) was a French poet and screenwriter, born February 4, 1900 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, and died April 11, 1977 in Omonville-la-Petite (Manche). Author of a first success, the collection of poems, Paroles, he became a popular poet thanks to his colloquial language and his play on words. His poems have since been famous in the French-speaking world and massively learned in French schools. He has also written screenplays for the cinema where he is one of the artisans of poetic realism.

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to comment. It means so much.

I apologize for word verification, but as soon as I changed the settings from only users with Google accounts, I started receiving a ton of spam comments...within one hour of changing the settings. The bots are on high alert apparently.
