#CatThursday - #Authors and #Cats (99) Marguerite Durand

Welcome to the weekly meme that celebrates the wonders and sometime hilarity of cats! Join us by posting a favorite lolcat pic you may have come across, famous cat art or even share with us pics of your own beloved cat(s). It's all for the love of cats! Share the link to your post with your comment below.

The second Cat Thursday of each month is Authors and Cats Thursday. Each time I will feature an author (with a birthday during the month), pictured with their/a cat(s), or guest posts by cat loving authors who also (sometimes) write about cats.

She founded her own newspaper, stood for election, had a pet lion and now has the Bibliothèque Marguerite Durand named for her. (The French History Podcast - Twitter)

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to comment. It means so much.

I apologize for word verification, but as soon as I changed the settings from only users with Google accounts, I started receiving a ton of spam comments...within one hour of changing the settings. The bots are on high alert apparently.

  1. She has her own library in Paris because she gave it a mountain of books on feminism, so the library changed its name and continued providing books on women and feminism (Parisian librarian here !), but I didn't know she had a pet cheetah !
