This week, we say goodbye to one of our own. Kate and Jigglypuff were a part of Cat Thursday from the start. Kate blogs at Books, Crafts and Pretty Things. Sadly, Jigglypuff passed away last week on Friday. At 17 years old, she was sick with tumors and arthritis. She sure did live a long life.

Jigglypuff was always such a joy to visit on Kate's blog. Definitely a kitty with personality. She even had her own Facebook page. Kate, we are so sorry for your loss. We know you will miss her dearly. Hugs from Alice, Arya and me...and all of us at Cat Thursday. May her dear soul rest in peace. ❤

I hope Kate doesn't mind that I nabbed a couple of images of her. It wouldn't be a tribute without them.

ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting Michelle - have a paw-some week!
So sorry to hear of the loss of Kate's furry friend. Loving the name by the way ... I'm curious to know how it came about.
ReplyDeleteHi Tracy, My nephew's cat had kittens and my brother took one. He was wondering what to name her so when my nephew was playing Pokemon Stadium, the game would say the names of the Pokemons. This was back in 2000. A few weeks later my brother had to travel and we looked after Jigglypuff, but then we didn't want to give her back. My brother passed away about 2 and a half years now. So it was lovely that we had Jigglypuff as long as we did because she was a connection there as well.
DeleteI'm so sorry to hear about Jigglypuff.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for this tribute, we loved being part of Cat Thursday. I will try to join in again soon. I am a bit overwhelmed at the moment. xx hugs
ReplyDeleteYou asked about the scrolly thing on my blog. I copied the HTML code for you and then your site said it would not accept the code as copied. Try searching on-line for html code for a scrolling marquee. Hope this helps.
ReplyDeleteThanks for trying. I will do that. I'm sure I'll find one. :-)
DeleteI'm so sorry about the loss of Jigglypuff.
