TTBA Weekly News and Mailbox Monday

This feature was inspired by It's Monday! What are you reading? hosted by Sheila at Book Journey and by The Sunday Salon.

Well, I'm just coming off my week long Frightful Fall Read-a-Thon, as many of you know.  A lot of work hosting a read-a-thon by yourself with about 60 participants! Whew! I enjoyed every minute of it though.  My only regret is that I haven't been able to stop by and visit many blogs lately.  I'm hoping to remedy that situation this week. =O)  So, I hope you will forgive me and bear with me while I get back in the groove.

EVENTS
--The Frightful Fall Read-a-Thon ended yesterday.  We had a fun time doing some scary reading all week.  The wrap-up post is HERE.  My read-a-thon stats are posted there, as well as winners of the final giveaways and mini-challenges.  Thanks to all who participated and to the authors who donated all the awesome prizes and the other bloggers who hosted mini-challenges/giveaways.  It would not have been such a success without them.

--Don't forget about the Frightful Fall Reviewers Challenge going on over at Castle Macabre (along with my blogging buddies, Kai and Orchid).  There are some great prizes up for grabs at all three blogs.  Details and sign up HERE.

--Did you know that I'm the Book Whore of the Month over at Smash Attack Reads?  Yup, that's right! Never thought I'd enjoy being called a whore, but in this case, I loved it! You can go read all about it HERE.  Thanks again to Ryan for nominating me and to all the lovely bloggers who said such nice things about me. =O)

--I'm giving away a wonderful Christmas book over at The Christmas Spirit called The Christmas Village by Melissa Ann Goodwin.  You can also check out my interview with Melissa.  Giveaway is open until October 30.  Stop by and read all about it HERE.

--TuesBookTalk, my Tuesday night book chat on Twitter (@TuesBookTalk, #TuesBookTalk) and at my Goodreads Read-a-Long group, is reading A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness.  We meet on Twitter every Tuesday at 10:30pm EST/9:30pm CST and chat for about an hour.  If you can't make the chat on Twitter, you can always post your thoughts about each section in the group on Goodreads.  It's never too late to jump in and catch up.  You can find our reading schedule HERE.

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to comment. It means so much.

I apologize for word verification, but as soon as I changed the settings from only users with Google accounts, I started receiving a ton of spam comments...within one hour of changing the settings. The bots are on high alert apparently.

  1. Yay! I was hoping if I moved it that more people would be able to participate. You don't need to link up yet because I'll post a new one once it gets closer to the start date. Feel free to join the goodreads group though because that's where I will be putting all the updates from now on. :)

I love the sound of Frostbite and I used to own all The Upitty Women books, not sure what happened to them though.

    Have a great week.
