We're all going through it right now with what's going on in our world. A little levity certainly doesn't hurt in times such as this, to lift our spirits and make us laugh. In no way do I mean to make light of the situation. Sending positive thoughts to you and your families. I hope you are all safe and well.

The second Cat Thursday of each month is Authors and Cats Thursday. Each time I will feature an author with their cat(s), pictured with a cat(s), or guest posts by cat loving authors who also (sometimes) write about cats.

Caroline Lamarche was born in Liège, March 3, 1955, where she completed her studies in Roman philology. She published her first work, a collection of poems entitled L'arbre rouge (The red tree), in 1991. After that she mainly focused on writing prose. Le jour du chien was published in 1996 , followed by La nuit l'après-midi in 1998 and J'ai cent ans in 1999. For The Day of the Dog , published in the French Library, she received the Belgian state prize for literature Victor Rossel, also known as the Belgian Prix Goncourt. (Goodreads)
