My Christmas in July 2011 event is in full swing over at my Christmas blog, The Christmas Spirit. I've got some guest posts lined up and other fun stuff coming throughout the month. Remember, authors and bloggers, if you would like to contribute a guest post, just let me know. Would love to have you!
There are already 12 people signed up for the High Summer Read-a-Thon at the end of the month. If you haven't already, why not sign up? You can check out this POST for details and sign-up.
The Devin O'Branagan Flash Fiction contest ended on Thursday. Unfortunately, my story didn't win, but I enjoyed writing it and I'm proud of it. I'd like to thank everyone who took the time to vote and if you voted for my story, an extra special thanks! If you haven't had a chance to read it, I have it posted on my writing blog, The Story Inside Me. Go HERE to check it out. I'm going to try to enter again this month, although this month's prompt is pretty challenging.
I have finally set up my Amazon store, The True Book Addict Bazaar. I spent two days last week designing and building it. Of course, anything purchased from my store will give me a very small percentage of the sale, just so you know. If you want to check it out, you can access it through the pages menu below the blog header.

Check out my new blog business cards...won from UPrinting, from a giveaway hosted by Roxanne Rhoads at Fang-tastic Books. Sorry for the poor image quality. I copied the image from the UPrinting site and they didn't translate over well. I'm very pleased with them. The background color is actually more brown (they look slightly green here).
I need to get buisness cards, but when It hink aobut it, I'm not in the mood to do it. Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI really want to read Now Face to Face by Karleen Koen. I had enjoyed the author's Through a Glass Darkly.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week in reading!
I love those business cards! They're beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Ryan--yeah, designing them can be frustrating. And I went through a big mess with these because my computer shut down when I was in the process of checking out so I had to call them and work it out because when I logged back on, it wouldn't give me my free promotion. Ugh! Another good place online for cards is Vistaprint and they usually have a free or discounted promotion going on.
ReplyDeleteMisha--I haven't read Koen yet, but I have several of her books, including Through a Glass Darkly and her new one, Before Versailles. My sister loved Through a Glass Darkly.
Yvonne--Thanks! I really love them too. I think they reflect my blog well.
Nice Goodwill finds!
