It's National Cat Day!!!


I just found out from Melissa at Scuffed slippers and wormy books.... that today is National Cat Day! I had no idea! If I did, I would have been lavishing even more attention on Alis than I normally do!

So in honor of my dear Alis...a haiku written by me especially for her. 

Your black majesty
as you frolic through the house
a sight to behold.

I apologize for word verification, but as soon as I changed the settings from only users with Google accounts, I started receiving a ton of spam comments...within one hour of changing the settings. The bots are on high alert apparently.

    Aw how adorable! And it is also International Doughnut Month although I prefer to spell it donut. Like I need an excuse to enjoy a donut.
