Summer Wrap-Up Read-a-Thon

Here we are at another read-a-thon! Yes, I adore them.  Can you tell?  My plans are going to be kind of laid back.  Here's one book I'm currently reading and I plan on finishing first because I'm doing Camp NaNoWriMo and hosting my Sit Down and Write Write-a-Thon the week of August 20 so I'll be working on my novel this month, as well as reading my butt off (plus work).  Sleep?  Who needs it.  LOL!

Book in a Month by Victoria Lynn Schmidt, Ph.D.

Other selections:
Beneath the Slashings by Michelle Isenhoff
The Great Sphinx of Amun-Ra by Herbert L. Smith
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter by Seth Grahame-Smith (to finish)
Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel (one section to read for read-a-long)
The Cider House Rules by John Irving (one section for TuesBookTalk read-a-long)

Anything beyond the above I will decide later.

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to comment. It means so much.

I apologize for word verification, but as soon as I changed the settings from only users with Google accounts, I started receiving a ton of spam comments...within one hour of changing the settings. The bots are on high alert apparently.

  1. Looks like you have some great books lined up! I have been wanting to read The Cider House Rules. I saw the movie and enjoyed it- and since the book is always better I thought I would give it a try one day. Can't wait to hear how it is.

Enjoy Beneath the Slashings! We just reviewed it on our blog as part of the tour. :)
