Top Ten in 2009

Here is the top ten of books I read in 2009 (in order).  I am not including re-reads, because if I did, Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire and The Vampire Lestat would be at the top of the list! I'm a little disappointed in myself because I read way too few books this year.  One of my top goals for 2010 is to read A LOT more books...I'm hoping the various challenges I'm joining will help me out with this!

1. Let Me In (or Let the Right One In-British Translation)--John Ajvide Lindqvist

2. The Time Traveler's Wife--Audrey Niffenegger

3. The Host--Stephenie Meyer

4. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince--J. K. Rowling

5. The Road--Cormac McCarthy

6. New Moon--Stephenie Meyer

7. The Looking Glass Wars Trilogy--Frank Beddor

8. The Christmas List--Richard Paul Evans

9. The Private Diary of Mr. Darcy--Maya Slater

10. 206 Bones--Kathy Reichs

So...what were your favorites?

Happy Reading =O)

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to comment. It means so much.

I apologize for word verification, but as soon as I changed the settings from only users with Google accounts, I started receiving a ton of spam comments...within one hour of changing the settings. The bots are on high alert apparently.

  1. Picking favorites is so hard! Great list there. I see some of my favorites there too!

  2. My son just finished The Road and loved it. I may have to suck it up and read it.
