#CatThursday - #Authors and #Cats (92) Caroline Lamarche

Welcome to the weekly meme that celebrates the wonders and sometime hilarity of cats! Join us by posting a favorite lolcat pic you may have come across, famous cat art or even share with us pics of your own beloved cat(s). It's all for the love of cats! Share the link to your post with your comment below.

The second Cat Thursday of each month is Authors and Cats Thursday. Each time I will feature an author with their cat(s), pictured with a cat(s), or guest posts by cat loving authors who also (sometimes) write about cats.

Caroline Lamarche was born in Liège, March 3, 1955, where she completed her studies in Roman philology. She published her first work, a collection of poems entitled L'arbre rouge (The red tree), in 1991. After that she mainly focused on writing prose. Le jour du chien was published in 1996 , followed by La nuit l'après-midi in 1998 and J'ai cent ans in 1999. For The Day of the Dog , published in the French Library, she received the Belgian state prize for literature Victor Rossel, also known as the Belgian Prix Goncourt. (Goodreads)

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to comment. It means so much.

I apologize for word verification, but as soon as I changed the settings from only users with Google accounts, I started receiving a ton of spam comments...within one hour of changing the settings. The bots are on high alert apparently.

  1. Awww! What a sweet pic with her kittie!

  2. Oh I do love this meme when you feature authors and their cats. Not someone I'm familiar with but what a lovely photograph.

  3. It's amazing how you keep finding more authors who love cats. Cats and books are indeed a match made in heaven!
