Now that I'm finally home (and have had a short nap), after being out all day. I'm ready to get started. I realize that I probably will not be able to read for the full 24 hours. That's okay.
You may ask if I was marching today. I was not. My sons (age 14 and 15) asked me not to. They were afraid something would happen to me. Since my sons are more important to me than anything else in this world, I had to respect their wishes. So, no marching for me, but I was there in spirit. Believe me. To all my sister women who did march today...sending out a big thank you for representing women who know how to stand up for what they believe in.
Okay, so let me do this little survey:
1. Where in the world are you reading from this weekend?
Nashville, Tennessee
2. Have you done the 24in48 readathon before?
Yes
3. Where did you hear about the readathon, if it is your first?
N/A
4. What book are you most excited about reading this weekend?
I'm equally excited about reading Little Women and The Chemist.
5. Tell us something about yourself.
I'm the mom of two teen boys, I love to read (obviously), I'm very active in the bookish community. I host six readathons yearly at my blog Seasons of Reading which also has a Facebook group. I have two book groups on Goodreads, and I host several reading challenges at my community for reading challenges and read-alongs, Gather Together and Read. My sister book blog, a horror blog, is Castle Macabre. I adore cats. I have a massive library in my home consisting of over 3000 books.
6. Remind us where to find you online this weekend.
You can find me on this blog, on Twitter @truebookaddict, or over at the Seasons of Reading Facebook group (Michelle Stockard Miller).

I apologize for word verification, but as soon as I changed the settings from only users with Google accounts, I started receiving a ton of spam comments...within one hour of changing the settings. The bots are on high alert apparently.
