Cat Thursday - Banned Books Week Edition

Welcome to the weekly meme that celebrates the wonders and sometime hilarity of cats! Join us by posting a favorite LOL cat pic you may have come across, famous cat art or even share with us pics of your own beloved cat(s). It's all for the love of cats! Enjoy! (share your post in the Mr. Linky below)

I'm doing my series of posts this week about Banned Books Week (using Slideshare) so I thought I would incorporate today's slideshow with Cat Thursday. Hope you like it!

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to comment. It means so much.

I apologize for word verification, but as soon as I changed the settings from only users with Google accounts, I started receiving a ton of spam comments...within one hour of changing the settings. The bots are on high alert apparently.

  3. I don't remember Like Water for Chocolate as being racy but it's been a long time since I read it. I do not believe in books being removed or banned though, that's a serious infringement on free speech and thinking for yourself.

  4. I was surprised to find so many works by Shakespeare on the list of frequently challenged/banned classics. Some of the reasons people cite are so out there!

  5. Nice last photo! Like a forbidden relationship for the forbidden books topic!
