Summer Solstice Read-a-Thon

STICKY POST--PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR OTHER/NEWER BLOG CONTENT

Mission to Read

Wrap-Up:

Well, that didn't go so hot. I had a horrific day of work yesterday! I managed to read about 50 pages of Watership Down, all told. Oh, well. On with the Library Books Read-a-Thon!

Not sure how much reading I'll get done in 24 hours, but hoping to at least finish Wicked  Watership Down (decided to finish it for Once Upon A Time as my one fantasy read...I'll have to pick up Wicked later) and get started on World War Z. We'll see! Tomorrow starts the Library Books Read-a-Thon, but I won't be reading all library books. I'll post about that one tomorrow night after this sticky post is gone.

Details from the blog:
Summer Solstice Read-a-thon is a 24 hr event taking place on the longest day of the year...June 21, 2013.

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to comment. It means so much.

I apologize for word verification, but as soon as I changed the settings from only users with Google accounts, I started receiving a ton of spam comments...within one hour of changing the settings. The bots are on high alert apparently.

  1. I decided to take your advice. I've been thinking about doing it for a while, but had grown so attached/accustomed to the three column layout. But the small post area was really getting on my nerves. I like this much better. Thanks for nudging me in the right direction. =O)

  2. You are a readathon maniac! Way to go! Might I suggest having one sidebar? so that your posts text area is bigger and easier to read? Less scrolling that way. Just a friendly suggestion. Tooodles dear!
