Upcoming events hosted by me!

The Spring into Horror Read-a-Thon is just three days away! Hosted by me over at the Seasons of Reading blog, the only requirement is to read one scary book during the read-a-thon. It doesn't have to be horror...gothic mysteries, paranormal, thrillers all qualify. The rest of the read-a-thon you can continue reading scary stuff or read other genres. Easy peasy!

Find out all the information and sign up HERE.

I'm still seeking prize donations so if you know of any one willing and/or authors looking to promote their book, have them contact me via the contact form in the tabs section above.

Sit Down and Write 3 is coming the first two weeks of May. This write-a-thon is designed for all writers, whether you're working on a novel or other creative writing, or a blogger just wanting to catch up on book reviews or other blog posts. I'm hosting at my writing blog, Stories Inside. Get all the details and sign up HERE.

In May, I am hosting a Post-2000 “Modern Classic" read-a-long, a Classics Club event. Possible titles I'm considering are The Red Queen by Margaret Drabble, Fingersmith by Sarah Waters, The Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver, Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro, Fall on your Knees by Ann-Marie MacDonald, or A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry. I'd like you to help me decide so I've created a poll. It's in the top of the right sidebar. Voting will be open for about a week. I hope you will vote and think about joining me!

Come and join me! The more the merrier. =O)

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to comment. It means so much.

I apologize for word verification, but as soon as I changed the settings from only users with Google accounts, I started receiving a ton of spam comments...within one hour of changing the settings. The bots are on high alert apparently.

  1. I had thought I wouldn't be able to do Spring Into Horror but if I take in thriller I'm wondering if Gone Girl qualifies. I'm reading that for book club so then I could join you!

  2. I'll be joining you for the Sit Down & Write 3. I just need to get a post written. ;)
