Cat Thursday: Authors and their cats (11)

Welcome to the weekly meme that celebrates the wonders and sometime hilarity of cats! Join us by posting a favorite LOL cat pic you may have come across, famous cat art or even share with us pics of your own beloved cat(s). It's all for the love of cats! Enjoy! (share your post in the Mr. Linky below)

The second Cat Thursday of each month is Authors and their Cats Thursday.  Each time I will feature an author and their cat(s).

I'm so glad I found this one! This is Doris Lessing and her cute little kitty.  I have a bunch of her books in my home library, but have not read them yet.  She's supposed to be a great writer.  I guess so, being the winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2007 for The Cleft (one that I own).

I also couldn't resist sharing this extra image today.  It had me chuckling.  I can just imagine Alice and Arya having this conversation.

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to comment. It means so much.

I apologize for word verification, but as soon as I changed the settings from only users with Google accounts, I started receiving a ton of spam comments...within one hour of changing the settings. The bots are on high alert apparently.

  1. LOL - We both used the same pic today! I guess we both liked it :) Happy Cat Thursday!

  2. Nice auther picture ... and so you think that puking and missing the litter box is part of a plan ... hmmmm. I will have to have a conversation with my kitties :)

  3. Ha! I often wondered what our boys discussed when we were out of the house!

  4. Great picture of Doris Lessing & cat. You can just see the love!

  5. I did a Kat Cat Thursday! I love your conspiracy Chloe & Grizelda. What one doesn't do, the other one does! *LOL*

  6. Hi Michelle,
I did a Cat Thursday last week, but I was away so I didn't link up. So I have put both links in for sharing.
I have a Doris Lessing Book in my collection I've never read as well. Must get around to it.
