I'm using this week's CAT THURSDAY to make a little announcement. You may (or may not) have noticed that my NaNoWriMo Button and word count widget are missing from the sidebar. After much thought and deliberation, I have decided to quit NaNoWriMo once again this year. I have a lot going on in my personal life. We are in the process of doing a MAJOR cleaning and unhoarding (* L *) of our house before the holidays, my son's birthday party, book review obligations, a side job plus every day life obligations with the kids, etc., etc., etc..... As usual, I bit off more than I could chew and did not think it through carefully enough. So to preserve my sanity, I have made this decision. Yes, I'm feeling a fair amount of guilt, but there is some relief in there also! I'm still going to get this novel written, but at my own pace and--who knows--I might just do my own NaNoWriMo in a different month!
So this week's cat pic is poking a little fun at myself. We all need to laugh at ourselves sometimes and just move on!
