Cat Thursday: Happy Thanksgiving and remembering Socrates

 Happy Thanksgiving! Hope you and yours and all your fur babies have a safe holiday.

Last week, I was looking forward to Thanksgiving.  Now, not so much.  I feel about like this...not welcome anywhere. =O(

Please help me in sending out positive thoughts and love to Yvonne who lost her beloved Socrates on Monday.  She had found out just a couple of weeks ago that he was afflicted with heart disease, a mass and cancer.  Socrates was a regular on Cat Thursday.  Yvonne shared many moments and pics of him over the years.  He will be missed.  Socrates, I hope you are happy on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.

I apologize for word verification, but as soon as I changed the settings from only users with Google accounts, I started receiving a ton of spam comments...within one hour of changing the settings. The bots are on high alert apparently.

    You post reminds us that not all is good or happy in our lives ... I am so sorry for Yvonne and for you who feel you are not welcome anywhere. Our lives are dotted with sad and sometimes angry events that we need to learn to live with and move on. Focusing on the positives helps but learning from our experiences will accomplish more by helping by make it easier to avoid sad and sorry events or confront them as needed. I hope your day turns out to be joyful ... I can't imagine that there aren't many things in your life to be thankful for. Smile and think positive ...

    Sorry to hear about Socrates. Knowing how much I missed the cats we've only had for a few months when we were gone for a few days, I can't imagine how lost Yvonne is without him.
