I think it is still giving me nightmares, and I did read the book first. It is definitely intense.

Happy New Year, Michelle!Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02160951421693455864noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9057271795590627394.post-24630878227706334972012-01-02T16:08:54.997-05:002012-01-02T16:08:54.997-05:00Great books on your 2011 favs! I also can't understand how anyone can compare The Name of the Wind with HP, I love both, but they can't compare. Since you loved it so much, you should try The Demon Cycle series by Peter V. Brett, too. So far there are only 2 books out from the planned 5 & a couple of novellas, but I loved the series & the world the author has created! I still haven't read A Game of Thrones, at the beginning of every year I say I'll read it this year, but I just never do. I loved the Frightful read-a-thon, one of my favs events in 2011, so I'm looking forward to the next one & I vote for the name Spooky Spring Read-a-thon.Aleksandrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11781896546785210965noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9057271795590627394.post-88358507912632869072012-01-02T10:06:27.043-05:002012-01-02T10:06:27.043-05:00There are some great reads here! I read 2 other Millennium books this year, and they were every bit as good, if not slightly better than The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo- loved them! But Game of Thrones shocked me. I've owned the book for years- my copy is a paperback that Borders had on sale for 3.99 back in the day. But it just lingered on my shelf for years until I watched the first episode of the HBO show. Loved it so much that I stopped watching and picked up the book. Just bought A Storm of Swords to read this new year. Great list of books, can't wait to see what you read in 2012!Kate @Midnight Book Girlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01220575670960466054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9057271795590627394.post-8469974145099621812012-01-01T14:38:07.301-05:002012-01-01T14:38:07.301-05:00I loved Game of Throne and The Book Thief.
